This is crazy my seeing another return rubythroat this early. Our Houston naturalist/ Chronicle columnist Gary Ckark relayed that migration back is early July. On the mark for me this year.
I am having to put umbrellas up again so Black and blue, Aimstead, Rockin purple, mirage salvias, Lady in red basket salvias don't fry bc of 100 degrees this weekend. We lost one coral honeysuckle last time even under an umbrella shaded. Hamelia pattens is barely open female hummingbird went to also.
