Today, my wife and I went by car to all of the locations that Larry and I had visited over the last three days looking for extra emerging monarchs at School Road, 2nd/3rd Streets, US-23, Springport Road, Harrisville State Park and Harbor, and the town. The monarchs were seen below the numbers we had reported to JN. The monarchs seemed to have dispersed out from the areas. We decided to go behind the District 2 Health Department in town at the Childrens' Ponds that had not been checked yet and saw a female monarch on a milkweed plant just before it began to rain. Weather was cloudy with the Wind SE-7 mph, and the Temperature was 82F. at 5:44 PM.
