Big day! 5 captive reared monarchs emerged. Held them in big habitat until a storm cloud moved inland. Then released each one same day.
1. "Wandering Wanda" female
2. "Jack" male
3. "Ophelia" female
4. "Willis" male

5. "FlyGirl" female.

2,3,4 all posed for photos after release.
1 flew to canopy after release
5 flew and found mate after release

Then big surprise we spotted a metallic blue bee which were thought to be extinct until sightings in Florida this year. We were not fast enough to get photo this time hopefully it will return again to porterweed.
