Yesterday in the early evening I was given 7 asclepias syriaca plants with roots to plant. I got them planted in the ground before it got dark and watered them. I wanted them in the ground before the tropical storm/nor'easter of today. Today while checking on the plants after the storm I found an instar 1 caterpillar on one of the plants.
