The last time I saw them there was in 2012. I saw worn adults on July 20, 2012. I saw the first caterpillar on July 20, 2012, and the first newly emerged individual on August 13.
There are several stands of Milkweed. I hope things develop this year.
The Milkweed species here is Low Milkweed - (Asclepias ovalifolia). A. speciosa is found in southern Alberta.
