I observed three monarchs chasing each other high around a tall Box Elder Maple Tree in front of a neighbor's house on Pine Street at 6:30 PM. The weather was sunny with the Wind SE-9, and the Temperature was 73F. I decided not to count anymore monarchs until I see directional flight of the fourth generation in August, because I do not want to duplicate numbers of the recent emergence of the butterflies the last few days. I have visited all of the possible locations of milkweed in the area of Harrisville. See you in August!
