Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 07/17/2020

Number: 1

8:53 AM. Little Monarch caterpillar eating at the top of the milkweed. Along comes a human and sprinkles it on the head. By 10 AM this little first instar had gone down the plant to hide under the leaves. Early morning before 9 AM is one of the best times to see caterpillars. I have seen more eggs, but this is the first caterpillar that I have found.
