Hummingbird, Other Observations

Date: 07/29/2020

Number: 6

At least 6, probably many more, but I see 3 or 4 at a time fighting over each of two feeders, and more at the other 4 feeders. The adult males and females always “win” and the babies occasionally feed briefly together before chasing each other.
Note to Beverly in Houston: feeders are on different sides of the house and most are out of sight of each other ... makes no difference; it’s in their nature to squabble over food sources.
