Monarchs have come to our location all July and August - laying eggs on our milkweed patch - we have 9 caterpillars in enclosures and a pot of milkweed covered with eggs laid July 31 and Aug 1st - just planting annuals, and perrenials along with our patch of milkweed has attracted monarchs every day mid, late July and early August. Leaving "weeds" like Queen Anne's Lace and Thistle in the front of our lawn is drawing them as well.
