Saw an article in the Daily Sun, Flagstaff saying due to fires Rufous, broadtails have moved further up in their state to nest this year.
We are getting Broadtails young male , female going to Hamelia patens in morning.
The article says sighters think they are rubythroats but are not. That happens to me sometimes when they are too young, hard to i.d.in the distance. I do know rubythroats are friendly and go to feeders.
These two are not going to any feeder.
My brother in Katy, TX said he has feeders out for 2 weeks with only one sighted half a day.
