Sighted one monarch, appx 10:15 - 11:05 AM. Was nectaring intensely on orange flowers of pleurisy root, hardly flew at all the whole time, climbed from one plant to another, hardly even moved wings. Saw another monarch appx 3:00 PM, this one didn't enter the garden, flew back and forth appx 15 feet up in air, then disappeared over roof. Weather sunny, morning temp appx 77 deg, afternoon temp appx 86 deg.
