Monarch Waystation #271 reports that between 5:30 and 5:40 pm one ruby throated hummingbird was seen in the front bed nectaring on tropical milkweed. It hovered quickly, drank and was gone as I spotted it through the front window. Weather was overcast, in the 80s, calm winds, rain was forecast for the evening. Bird was too fast for me to determine its gender or photograph.
