Counts have been light July to date... storm hit Fire Island hard, damaged milkweed and nectar flowers, we are replenishing nectar plants asap for migrators. Hot and humid, the few female Monarchs we have are laying eggs abundantly on our common milkweed. Lonelyville, Fire Island, NY Ellen
The 12 adults were observed between 7:30am – 10:30am.
