We have 20 feeders and approximately 30 or so hummingbirds. I count about 10 males, 20 females, really tough to get an exact count with feeders spread over 3 acres. I have counted up to 12 females on 3 feeders at a time. The past week, I'm now filling feeders twice per day from empty. I've used 90 pounds of sugar this year already, but we had a stretch of 90's temps and I change feeders whether full or empty on hot days.
