Manistee has a large number of milkweed pants throughout the area. While visiting a friend on Merkey Rd., we saw many butterfly fluttering around the milkweed. I saw one female laying eggs. The area around the flooded Wetland Project, Dept.of National Resources also have an abundance of milkweed.
