Monarch Waystation #271 reports a quick sighting at 2:45 pm of a ruby-throated hummingbird with obvious white tail spots outside the kitchen window in the front large bed nectaring on Tithonia. Weather in the 90s, sunny. The hummingbird hovered and approached nearby tropical milkweeds and an ironweed, may have been startled by my movement near the window, and took off eastward.
