A mile or so stretch of Adirondack Loj Rd near it's intersection with Rt 73 is lined with milkweed. I saw no evidence of Monarchs around July 20th but on July 30-31, I sighted several adults and also saw two caterpillars plus scat on other milkweed. There was evidence of other caterpillar activity in the form of eaten milkweed leaves.
