sighting of several male and female hummers have increased greatly in the last 2 weeks that I loose track of how many.
They mostly go to the feeders
I do see them on my cardinal flower,petunias and butterfly bush. Also at the bird bath

There is also a lot of territory fights!

They are definitely fattening up for their long journey south.

I will be keeping my feeders up through the beginning of October for any stragglers

I'm already feeling I will be missing them. They are such a joy and a blessing especially through these unsettling times.
