I saw three young hummers zooming around. I saw one nectaring from my Salvia Firecracker, which has been common all season.

They are feeding deeply and are feeding within sight of each other, so it looks like they're getting ready for their journey. Last year, my "regulars" left the last week in August, with a couple of fly throughs in mid September.

Time to enjoy them while we can!
