12:15pm. Sunny warm day after a windy wet night. I saw a Monarch that appeared to be caught in some ground cover. On inspection, I found mating Monarchs. The male was faded and the female fresh. She was a tagged Monarch! I got them off the ground and onto a higher spot. I went inside to get a field glass to see if I could get the number on the tag but alas they were gone a moment later.
