While biking up and back for 1 1/2 hours along the Sakatah Trail, we saw 35 Common Sulfur butterflies, 1 Tiger Swallowtail, and 1 Black Swallowtail butterflies. The Black Swallowtail was circling upward with a Monarch, very close to each other and in sync. This area is pretty open with many shrubs, wildflowers and weeds growing along the bike trail.
