Two weeks ago, I saw a yellow butterfly or moth but didn't get close enough to identify. A week ago (8/10) I was close enough that I could confirm seeng a Monarch. I kind of forgot about them until I noticed my milkweed was almost fully consumed. I just saw 20 caterpillars and four chrysalis. I relocated four caterpillars from consumed plants to ones that still had some leaves. I should be cleaned out in the next day or so. I have heard that others in the neighborhhod are looking for milkweed.
