The NW winds have now turned to the ESE at 9 mph after 3 1/2 days. This morning, I saw a monarch heading west across my yard with another one in my backyard flower garden. My friend (Larry) had 2 at his house northwest of town. Then between noon and 2:45 PM, as the wind went over to the east, Larry saw one near US HWY-23/M-72 intersection in town, one at the public library, and one at the District #2 Health ponds. I saw 1 at the credit union field, one at School Drive fields, 2 in town, and two more at the harbor. And finally, another friend (Reta) saw one in her backyard on Pine Street. Weather was mostly cloudy with the Temperature topping out at 70F.
