Making up a number...I have more hummingbirds than I can count. They are going to my zinnias, petunias, and roses. Multiple birds are in my mimosa trees which still have lots of blooms. I sometimes have more than 20 birds at my feeders at any one time...at least in morning and by around 5-7:45 pm. Most that I have counted and been sure of is 23, but I can't see my feeders in the back of the house at the same time. Been keeping track of how much I have been putting out every day - usually 7-8 cups daily and have to put additional before the day is over. They ate more today than yesterday. I call them my humminghogs. In the past two months (since June 13), they have eaten 283 cups of sugar water - 17.7 gallons.
