This female was very bright and in good shape. She was taking nectar from Buddleia davidii, Verbena bonariensis, cup plant, and tall ageratum. She quickly sipped nectar and kept going back to the milkweeds to lay more eggs. Asclepias incarnata and A. syriaca
Today is sunny, breezy, 83 degrees, 48% humidity, and she was busy from 11:45 a.m. on.
Other monarchs are slowly drifting through today...I saw 4. Each day I am seeing 1 or 2 more.
