The most I've seen yet over a four week period. Larva on swamp and common milkweed. Encouraging as we've not seen many adult monarchs around this summer.
With the milkweed running out, borrowed some stems from a friend, and added some butternut squash, which they gravitated to. All but a few have now moved on. Found a chrysalis safely ensconced on underside of deck chair cushion.
