A busy day in the yard for the Monarchs. A pair of mating adults, a female laying eggs on the Honeyvine Milkweed (seems to be much preferred over the Common Milkweed in my yard), one small caterpillar on the same cluster of vines and multiple adults nectaring on the wild onions, Zinnia and Tithonia. Conditions were sunny with a south breeze and temperatures in the mid-80's.
