Puzzled! I have a ruby maybe, with a beautiful wide FAN TAIL that has a lot of white. It is a larger bird grayish belly, looks like a ruby throat, but it is quick. ( It has come every year- no positive ident As hubby sees it most of the time! He says it's a ruby-throat. But it is so much bigger. We've seen it for at least 5 years, for about 3 times a week. Recently saw it on 17th and 20-th. Usually around noon.

There is a lot of activity today. 8 different hummingbirds, female, male and juveniles.
