Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/24/2020

Number: 9

Id noticed a somewhat worn female monarch in my flowers for a few days, laying eggs on the Mexican Milkweed I had planted. She seemed more interested in it than in the native Common Milkweed which was on the other side of my house.
So now I have caterpillars of various sizes eating it to the bone. I hope some of them survive to fly south.
