Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 08/23/2020

Number: 2

Seeing at least two monarchs battling it out in the garden. Assuming these are males but one definitely is. There must also be a female stopping by as I've also found eggs and 1st instar larvae. Raising in an enclosure outside so they get the proper cues from nature to go into diapause and migrate. Please raise monarchs outside, protected by a mesh sleeve or in an enclosure that allows sunlight, breeze and temperature. Many wont be able to navigate or form correct hormones if raised without natural cues.
