Took this pic from my kitchen window. Cleared out that side of the house this year and planted flowers I knew they would like. Thrills me every time I happen to see one outside the kitchen window. The season started slower than usual for us. While they showed up earlier, there were fewer. For us we had very few full time residents this year, 1 male and 2 females, for a long time we only saw the male nectaring on the flowers and feeders. Now seeing activity all day, every day. We now have at least 1 adult male and 2 juvenile males and 3 female. Just thrilled to have them.
