During the dericho on August 10, 20202 we had 89-110 mph winds. A ruby throated female humming bird was seen making precise flight directly to one of my feedings. In spite of the wind she could fly accurately.

I can usually spot 3 separate hummers in my back yard. After the storm I could only see 2 hummers.

During clean-up of a friends yard the downed humming bird feeder was surrounded by 3 hummers trying to feed. She rapidly refilled and replaced the feeder.
