Date: 08/27/2020

Number: 6

At the Tip at Point Pelee National Park 6:30-8:30pm
30c. Mostly sunny with strong 30-40 kmh SW wind.
Observed 2 Monarchs flitting over or near west path. One seen come in from the east over the lake & arrive at Tip trees. Just before 8:10pm sunset & the 20 mins after at Marsh Boardwalk 3 seen just flitting over marsh. Not in one direction. More like looking for a place to settle.
I've checked the Tip for Monarchs the last 4 evenings out of 7 with numbers from 0-7 seen. The fall evening roost counts (by me) begin Thursday Sept. 3rd.
