7:20 - 7:45 AM - Female ruby throat hummingbird feeding at feeder at the south side of the garden. The bird then moved to the northern part of the garden and spent extended time nectaring from a well-established plectranthus 'Velvet Elvis'. Also visited a purple dahlia bloom and a salvia guaranitica 'Black & Blue'. Lots of activity in the past 7-10 days, both at the feeders and the nectar sources.
