Saw the tiniest little monarch caterpillar it was on a coneflower leaf I moved into a jar with leaves from the milk weed plant
It was smaller than an inch and a half
the only way I saw it was I was pulling weeds and I noticed the stripes on this leaf.
I recognized as a monarch caterpillar it's now eating its way into becoming a butterfly
