This may be my last sighting for this year. We received the last remnants of tropical storm Laura, a lot of wind and rain (40 mm). I spotted him during a brief sunny reprieve as he was filling up at the feeders. This was after two weeks of steady, heavy traffic and much kerfuffle. It was a very good Summer, with our usual gang of up to six duking things out. We had seven weeks of heat wave and drought and it showed in all aspects.
