Hummingbird, Other Observations

Date: 08/30/2020

Number: 6

Still not as much activity as in previous years. I have two adult males, two adult females and two juveniles. One of the juveniles I know is a young male because of the scattering of ruby feathers on his throat and the other I judge to be a youngster by his/her actions. One of the adult females I'm sure is a transient. I'm surprised more migrants haven't shown up yet. Sugar water consumption has increased a little as the mature males are fueling up.
