We seem to have picked a few travelers today. An adult male ruby throat showed up at a salvia for nectar. I didn't see him again so I assume he was just passing thru. This male with 2 other adult males and 5 females/immatures totaled 8 for today. Lots of nectaring on flowers and less on feeders.
In picture 1 hummer is on the feeder and another is nectaring on a black & blue salvia blossom that appears to be somewhat directly below hummer on feeder (but more in the foreground).
