Monday, August 31st was a very active day. At least three ruby-throated hummingbirds, possibly four throughout the day. All spent time at our feeders and in the garden nectaring on salvia, hosta, fuchsia, and more. Plenty of territorial activity, with males chasing females as well as females running off other females. Tuesday, September 1st we saw the morning temperature drop to 59 degrees F, so I expect there to be some changes in bird activity on the horizon.
