A lot of activity at Hamelia at 8 a.m today.
Mostly sub adult rubythroats as in photo. 1 blackchin, 1 Rufous. Rufous didn't stay so far, haven't seen him since. It's not our regular overwintering Rufous.
It's too hot for them, and they stay up in trees all day. After nectaring on Hamelia. Don't sip at shaded hot feeders under pergola very long.
They look healthy, y'all did well for them up east.
