Have not seen our last hummingbird since yesterday. Up until about a week ago there were at least 5 sometimes 6 eating at the 4 feeders. Lately have seen a lone female up until a day and a half ago. She now seems to have migrated.
This year was strange. Never have a lot..maybe 3-4 tops. This spring had 2-3..they disappeared for a long time. Disappearing seems to happen every year but this time it lasted much longer. Then 5-6 appeared for the last 6-7 weeks.
Hopefully we'll get stragglers coming thru.
