This day was warm and breezy with a down pour of rain mid-afternoon.

So, with the clouds and strong breeze still present after the rain stopped, I didn't think I would see a monarch, but I did!

I did not get to gender ID this beauty.

The field across my road is filled with golden rod, common milkweed and other wildflowers.
