Today at noon I took my 2 mile walk and observed one monarch on the beach at Harrisville State Park, and a camper saw one earlier on her walk to town. I also counted two at 2nd & Jackson Streets. My friend (Larry) saw two at his house just northwest of town around 11 AM. And finally, I saw a monarch at 6:15 PM in my yard flying around until it went up into my neighbor's maple tree for the night at 6:30 PM. Weather was sunny with the Wind SW to W at 10-15 mph and gusting to 25 mph. Sustained wind was 14.3 mph. It has now been very windy the last three days. The Temperature topped out at 70F.
