Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/05/2020

Number: 6

I was fooled by a Viceroy butterfly yesterday. Today, paying more attention to wing pattern and lines on butterfly, I was able to identify at least six monarch butterflies. Some on the butterfly bush, some on the verbena, some on the lantana and one on the zinnia's.
The ones we see are flying all around our gardens so saying they are headed south is not possible at this time.
