from September 1st to today,September 6th, we have seen at least six ruby-throats, usually two males butting chests, and chasing each other away from nectar and flowers on our deck, and 2-4 females or juveniles quietly drinking at the feeders or nectaring on the same flowers. Lots of entertaining activity...we will miss them when they leave for the winter!
