I was able to watch the nectar feeder hanging from my porch for approximately one hour.

All Ruby-throated humming birds were female and some stayed at the feeder for nearly one minute.

There were a couple of guarding scenes, but most of the birds just came to drink and then flew away.

I'm eager to see the males coming to my two feeders or sipping on the Jewel Weed flowers growing as a hedge next to my house.
