The morning was stormy with high winds. I spotted my first hummingbird on my nectar feeder,while winds blew fiercely. As the day cleared up, I observed numerous hummingbirds,flying from flower to flower...a couple chasing each other.
One fun moment was when I was sitting on my sun porch. I had brought my three potted flowering plants inside earlier because of the wind. A male hummer hovered over my deck table, and seemed to look right at me as if letting me know it's time to bring the plants back outside...
