Two females watching and fighting for space at the feeder. One routinely nectars then sits on the feeder perch a few moments, nectars, repeats two to three times, always watching for the competition. Also nectaring repeatedly at the many salvias & cannas (definitely a second choice) in my back garden. This hyper nectaring activity seems earlier than in the past several years. There were males, but no female visitors around all summer but they are long gone now.
