Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/06/2020

Number: 11

All eleven of them were eating a lot the last few days since Sunday (09/06/2020) when I first noticed them on our milkweed plants. Today (09/09/2020), ten of them spun silk and now are hanging in a J shape. The last one seems to be deciding on a good spot to spin. There were likely several more around on Sunday, though it was hard to get a good count amongst all the leaves, and we do have toads in our garden who likely ate some of them this week.
