For a week or so, I haven't seen the hummingbirds for much of the day eating at the feeder. A few times during the day, but no where the activity just a couple weeks ago. The ones I see appear to be the same ones and not migrating hummers.

The lessening in activity also seemed to happen when a neighbor had some trees taken out - one was an oak that the hummers had used in years past for nesting.

It seems a little early this year for them to leave. They are still usually here until around the 17th or so of September.
